Introduction

This is aimed toward professional astronomers, although the public and amateurs are welcome to browse and enjoy. This is intended to be more rigorous than wikipedia, and more relaxed than the Planetary Data System. Except where noted otherwise, content on this site follows the usual rules of scientific publication and communication, which is very similar to that of the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License, in that you may use and distribute this work, but you must cite the work as indicated.
